Hey, Smiley Cookie fans! Sabrina here from Team Smiley! This past weekend, Smiley and the team traveled to Idlewild & Soakzone in Ligonier, PA to celebrate For Kids’ Sake Days. For Kids’ Sake Days is a special week at Idlewild, where guests can donate a canned good to help families in need and receive a special discount on tickets for the day! Along with helping out a good cause, children and their families are able to participate in a few super fun activities and meet some familiar characters throughout the park! Team Smiley visited Idlewild on the last day of the event, finishing the week of giving and festivities off strong.
During the event, kids (and Team Smiley!) also got the chance to meet and greet Caillou at the Hillside Theatre as well as sit on Santa’s lap in the spirit of Christmas in July! Guests also had a ton of fun decorating their own cookies and taking photos with Smiley by the Cookie Cruiser!
All in all, it was a very exciting day filled with plenty of smiles and cookies galore! Didn’t make it to Idlewild to see your favorite Smiley Cookie? Don’t sweat it - click here to see where Team Smiley will be next weekend or follow us on Twitter and Instagram!

Hi, Smiley friends - Emmie here! This past weekend, Team Smiley attended the Saint Sebastian Parish Festival and we were blown away! Saint Sebastian had the coolest rides and games for all to enjoy. Our cookie station stayed busy throughout the entire night. All of Smiley’s friends, big and small, gathered for some sweet treats and laughs.
Smiley’s favorite part of the night was the photo booth. Check out his close-ups- he’s a very photogenic cookie!
Smiley was a huge hit amongst his fans of all ages. He got to explore the whole festival but unfortunately, Smiley Cookies were not allowed on any of the rides. Smiley also got the chance to meet one of his newest fans- Father Mike Z., the new residing priest at Saint Sebastian. Father Mike loved hanging out with Smiley and decorated quite a few cookies of his own.
Overall, this parish festival was a blast! We’re already looking forward to attending next year.

Hey, cookie fanatics - Josie here! This past weekend, Team Smiley traveled to White Oak, PA to attend the St. Angela Merici Parish Festival. Although the sky was looking a bit gloomy at first, the rain held off and we had an awesome time spreading smiles! There were tons of games, yummy food, and many baked goodies that we enjoyed. (Our favorite was the homemade pumpkin rolls!)
Smiley and the team loved meeting everyone who made this event possible, including these two festival volunteers, who stopped by during their break to practice their cookie decorating skills and grab a quick photo with Smiley!
Smiley also had the chance to get some practice on the green! We have to say that for a cookie, his putting skills were pretty on PAR. :)
Towards the end of the night, even more fun was had as everyone crowded around the DJ booth to dance to some of their favorite songs - even Team Smiley had a chance to show off their best moves! All in all, it was a great day full of smiles!
Hey, Smiley friends! Allison here! During the long holiday weekend, Team Smiley had a great time hanging out with our fans at one of our favorite events: Pirates Kids Zone! The team enjoyed a warm and sunny Sunday afternoon on Federal Street, right outside of PNC Park. Smiley was a huge hit and had the opportunity to meet friends, new and old. Friends and families enjoyed gathering around the Team Smiley tent to decorate their own cookies, share their Eat’n Park memories, and get their hands on one of our Pirate Smiley Cookies before stepping into PNC Park for the big game versus the Giants.
We always look forward to spending time on Federal Street and can’t wait for our next appearance on July 16th! (Or click here to see where we’ll be popping up next!) Plus, follow us (@enpteamsmiley) on Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date on all of our latest adventures.
Hey everyone! Kelly here – Team Smiley had a blast visiting the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium for Eat’n Park Family Week! On June 23rd and 24th, the team spread smiles both inside the aquarium and outside in the Safari Village. Smiley loved hanging out with all the marine animals and wildlife!
The weather was beautiful, bringing lots of Eat’n Park fans to visit the zoo and enjoy mini Smiley Cookies! Team Smiley had the chance to meet Vic, short for Victoria, one of the elephants at the zoo. She was very friendly and nice enough to pose for a picture!
The zoo also had a chalk artist on hand all week to decorate the pathways – Smiley and friends loved the art! In fact, here is one of our favorites from the week:
It was a fun-filled weekend for Team Smiley and a great Eat’n Park Family Week overall!
