Spring Farm Tour – Live with our local farmers!

Spring has sprung, and I’m already making my rounds to visit with the farmers who supply our restaurants with the fresh, local produce that you find on our salad bar and in our menu items. Since it’s still early and there’s not much to see in their fields and greenhouses yet, I thought you might like to know a little more about our hardworking partners who make our FarmSource program possible. So, I took my video camera, hit the road, and set about convincing these farmers to share a little about themselves with me. I enjoyed learning what makes them laugh and cry, and hopefully, you will too.

My fist visit was with Don Brenkle, of Brenckle's Farm and Greenhouse. When you visit Eat’n Park this summer and fall, you’ll find fresh tomatoes, green peppers, corn, and zucchini right from Don’s farm.

I’m still busy making my rounds, but I’ll be posting my interviews whenever I can. Stop back again to learn more about other farmers that we partner with through FarmSource.

Until next time,
Jamie Share

Very Cool!

How terrific to learn more about where our food comes from and to know that when we dine at Eat N' Park we are not only supporting a locally owned business, but local farmers as well!!

Thanks, Jamie!
