Big Fun at the Big Reach Center of Hope Back to School Bash!
Hi friends, it’s Smiley, and I’m back from another great weekend with my team. On Saturday morning, we traveled to Salem, Ohio to join the Big Reach Center of Hope for their Back to School Bash, and we had such a great time!
The Big Reach Center of Hope holds this event annually, and provides school supplies, clothing, haircuts, food, and fun to local families in need. They run an amazing outreach program that helps so many people. Of course, we provided lots of Smiley Cookies for the occasion! Guests could decorate their own cookies and take pre-decorated cookies home for their families.
There were plenty of fun things for me to do at the Back to School Bash. I met Max, the face of the Big Reach, as well as the penguins from Youngstown State University.
There was also a petting zoo, where I met a baby kangaroo and a baby camel.
The highlight of my day was riding down the inflatable slide, which I don’t always get to do since I am a pretty round cookie! I loved posing for pictures with some of my new friends at Big Reach and I am so glad that my team and I were able to help out and give back to such an amazing cause.
