FarmSource Spotlight: Yarnick's Farm

Local always tastes better, and right now, we’re relishing the abundance of fresh flavors from local farms.  Let us introduce you to a few of our local partners whose fresh produce is amping up the menu at our restaurants this summer! Read on to learn more about Yarnick’s Farm:

The Yarnick Family

Yarnick’s Farm is a family owned vegetable, beef, and pork farm located in Indiana, PA. They have been farming for over 34 years! We use many of their fresh vegetables in our restaurants including grape tomatoes, and zucchini in our Farmer’s Market Pasta, plus cabbage, lettuce, and green peppers on our Soup, Salad & Fruit Bar. They also grow the special Yummy peppers that can be found on our Pickled Pepper Steak Sandwich!

In 2014, Yarnick’s Farm received the Eat’n Park Hospitality Group’s Award of Excellence for their significant contribution to the success of the company.

To enjoy Yarnick’s fresh produce for yourself, stop by their Farm Market that is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM and located right on their farm in Indiana, PA! It’s filled with fresh vegetables, Black Angus Beef, and even a bakery.  Don’t forget to stop by their fresh herb & lettuce greenhouse, where you can pick your own herbs like basil, chives, fill, cilantro, and red & green leaf lettuce!
