OutRun Ovarian Cancer 5K

Hi, cookie lovers! It’s Emily from Team Smiley! This past weekend Smiley and the team hit the road for Cleveland, Ohio to attend the 12th annual OutRun Ovarian Cancer 5K! OROC, as it called, is a volunteer-driven organization that seeks to raise awareness and money for research in order to create a community of hope for those who are touched by ovarian cancer.

The event took place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The team was very busy passing out cookies to well deserving participants in the 5K and we even had to decorate a few cookies ourselves because of the high demand for smiles!  Good thing Chef Regis at Eat’n Park certified us as official Smiley Cookie decorators! We definitely made him proud!

While the team was busy passing out cookies, Smiley was showing off his awesome dance moves and channeling his inner rock star as he played air guitar! Needless to say, Smiley was totally rocking it and made lots of new friends! Stay tuned next week to see where the team is headed next!
