Eat'n Park has long been known as the Place for Smiles. One reason is that we want every guest to leave with a smile. But our famous Smiley Cookies have doubtlessly played the biggest role in earning us that nickname.
So then, how did those famous cookies come to be synonymous with Eat'n Park? You'll find the answer below in this fun video that celebrates all things Smiley. You might even recognize a few of our first Smiley Cookie commercials. Enjoy!
53 (fifty-three!) years ago when we were young marrieds, we spent many an evening at Eat 'n Park in Glenshaw enjoying "Big Boy" hamburgers, shakes and fries.
ReplyDeleteThose were the days when the carhops came out and hung the tray on your car window frame and brought your meal out to you. What fun!
We have sent Smiley Cookies to our adult children at Ft. Jackson, SC (US Army) and to Dushambe, Tajekistan, and other countries overseas. When my daughter received her Smiley's in Dushambe, she says she grabbed them and said "This is for ME - this is HOME!"
We have sent them for birthdays, anniversaries and to remind them they are still Steeler Fans no matter where they live and work!
