Smiley Makes Friends at the Reading Extravaganza

Hey all!

Wow! It was such a fun weekend for Team Smiley. All of the events that we attended definitely left us smiling including our trips to Penn State for the Special Olympics and Grove City for Strawberry Days!

While we met some wonderful friends throughout the entire weekend, one of our favorite stops was at the Carnegie Library in Oakland for their annual Reading Extravaganza! Right away, we set up our decorating station and met one of Eat’n Park’s biggest little fans, who was overjoyed to be making his own Smiley Cookie. He told our team how much he loves Eat’n Park and it meant so much to us to meet this smiley enthusiast!

Smiley also made some friends…like Andrew Cardnegie, the mascot of the Carnegie Library! Partnering with the library is such a special opportunity, so we’re happy that Smiley and Andrew are now best friends!
Did you know that Smiley loves to dance? We caught him busting a few dance moves several times throughout the day. Take a look at this fun photo we snapped below!

As you can see, we’re already having so much fun – and it’s only our first week out on the road! We are ecstatic that we get to continue making friends as we visit awesome places this summer! Click here to find out where we’re going next and follow us on Instagram to see our latest adventures. We would love to decorate a cookie with you sometime!

See you soon,
Sarah and your Team Smiley friends
